NYPAC

NYPAC, the New York Performance Artists Collective, was an organization dedicated to advancing the production, accessibility, and scholarship of performance and intermedia art. NYPAC was conceived in 2013 by Fabian Bernal and Samuel Draxler, and it ceased operations in 2017.

Over three years of continuous programming, NYPAC grew into a unique institution that provided performance artists with creative opportunities and professional services, aiding them to develop their practices and careers. NYPAC’s programming and commissions were covered by a wide range of media outlets, including Artforum, Art in America, The New York Times, The New Yorker, and Interview Magazine, among others. NYPAC collaborated with institutions including Abrons Arts Center, Judson Memorial Church, The Kitchen, and The Whitney Museum of American Art.

Thank you to David Everett Howe, Veronica Kim, Ben Rodriguez-Cubeñas, and the Rockefeller Brothers Fund for making NYPAC possible.
